Elderly woman dies after Cavan car crash

An 84-year-old woman has died following a crash in Co Cavan yesterday evening.

The collision between a car and a lorry happened at Poles on the N3 Cavan to Dublin road at 7pm.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact Cavan garda station.
