IBEC welcomes a 'responsible' budget

IBEC has welcomed the strategies revealed for Budget 2008 by Minister for Finance Brian Cowen.

Turlough O’Sullivan, director general of IBEC said: "This is a responsible and prudent Budget. The right thing to do now is to maintain the delivery of the National Development Plan in its entirety and to substantially rein in day-to-day spending by government.
