Sixth road death as woman killed in Co Limerick crash
A woman has died in Co Limerick after the car she was driving crashed just outside Newcastle West at about 1pm this afternoon.
The woman is the sixth person to have died on the roads since yesterday.
A man and a woman were killed in a two-car collision in Derry shortly before 9.30am this morning.
Two people were killed early today after two cars were involved in a head-on collision.
The 45-year-old man and 48-year-old woman died on the Frosses Road near Glarryford outside Ballymena, Co Antrim.
A 19-year-old man died in a car crash late last night on the Castlewellan Road near Newcastle, Co Down.
It is understood a Ford Fiesta car, in which he was a passenger, and a Daihatsu 4x4 were in collision at about 10.20pm.
Investigations have been launched into all of the accidents.
