Two killed after head-on car collision

Two people were killed early today after two cars were involved in a head-on collision.

The 45-year-old man and 48-year-old woman died on the Frosses Road near Glarryford outside Ballymena, Co Antrim.

Police said a third person, a man, was taken to hospital suffering from serious injuries.

The 2am crash involved a silver Citroen and green Mazda and the police appealed for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.
