Search operation at Wexford concluded

A search operation in North Wexford has concluded after a man's body was recovered from the sea at Cahore.

The search was launched this morning after an eye-witness reported seeing a dark-coloured car with two people inside enter the water just after 8pm.

The Irish Coastguard Helicopter, Garda divers and lifeboat crews were called to the scene, and a man's body was recovered this afternoon.

It is now believed there was no other passenger in the car at the time.
