Govt accused of misdirecting integration funding

A group that speaks for ethnic minorities in Ireland claims government investment in integration is being misdirected.

The New Communities Partnership says funding is being given to groups that claim to represent ethnic communities, rather than the communities themselves.

The group is holding its annual conference in Dublin today.

It says no immigrant-led organisation in Ireland has benefited from the Government's funding for integration.
