One dead after Donegal crash

A 21-year-old man was killed in a car crash today.

Another man was seriously injured in the collision at Drumhaggart, Burnfoot, Co Donegal. At 4.30am.

Two others are also recovering at Altanagalvin Hospital, Derry.

The car was travelling from Muff towards Burnfoot when the driver lost control and ended up in a ditch.

The victims were taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.

"The incident is under investigation and the road at the scene of the crash remains closed while the scene is being examined by Garda forensic collision investigators," said a Garda spokeswoman.
