Waterford body was victim of stabbing

A man has been stabbed to death in Waterford City, it has been revealed.

The 26-year-old was attacked in a house on Lower Grange near the St John's Park Estate this afternoon.

Gardaí arrived at the house after 4pm and are currently carrying out a technical examination of the scene.

The area around where the death took place has been sealed off.
