Pedestrian dies after being hit by van in Co Donegal

A section of the main Donegal to Derry road remains closed this morning following a fatal road accident yesterday evening.

A 65-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a van in Manorcunningham at around 6pm.

Gardaí say investigations are continuing and the road won't reopen until around 1pm today.
