Post mortem to be carried out on Dublin gun victim
A post mortem is due to be carried out today on the body of the man shot dead in Dublin's latest gangland execution.
The 35-year-old father-of-two was murdered at his home in Tallaght at around 9am yesterday morning.
He has been named locally as Sean McMahon, a known associate of car-dealer Brian Downes, who was shot dead in a double-murder in Walkinstown last month.
Mr McMahon was asleep in bed at his home on Donoghmore Avenue in Killinarden yesterday morning when a gunman entered his house and shot him in the head.
Gardaí have launched a murder inquiry and say they are looking for two men who were seen acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the killing.
Mr McMahon is the 18th person to be shot dead in Ireland so far this year.
