More disruption as Dublin Bus strike enters fourth day

Thousands of commuters are facing further disruption today as Dublin Bus drivers take to the picket lines for the fourth day.

Drivers based at the Harristown depot have been on strike since Monday as part of a row over working conditions on two new routes.

Their unions and Dublin Bus management attended exploratory talks on the matter at the Labour Court yesterday.

The court is now deciding whether there are grounds for further negotiations and the drivers say they will not escalate their action while they wait to hear the court's opinion.
