Gardaí issue appeal over Dublin assault

Gardaí investigating an assault in Dublin in the early hours of Monday, November 5, today issued a fresh appeal for information.

It's in relation to the assault of a man at South Summer Street in Dublin 8 at around 2am.

Gardaí would like to hear from a taxi driver who picked up a man and a woman and brought them to Nangor Road, Clondalkin, before taking them back to South Summer Street.

The driver is believed to be in his forties, of stocky build, with a beard and glasses and was driving a silver saloon car.
