The trial of a Ballymun man charged in connection with an alleged drive-by shooting has opened at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Mr Derek Devoy (aged 24), of Balbutcher Drive, pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and alternative charges of possession of a fire arm and ammunition for an unlawful purpose at Cranogue Close, Ballymun on September 19, 2005.
