Teenager hit by lorry on Dublin's O'Connell Street

A 16-year-old boy has been seriously injured after being struck by a lorry on Dublin's O'Connell Street this morning.

The truck mounted the central median just before 8.30am and collided with the teenager.

One northbound lane has been temporarily closed to traffic and motorists are being asked to avoid the route.
