A security alert in Enniskillen following a bomb warning this morning has been scaled down.

A security alert in Enniskillen following a bomb warning this morning has been scaled down.

Police received the warning at 3.30am.

The area between Belmore Street and East Bridge Street was sealed off however some roads have now re-opened after police completed their searches of the area.

It was Remembrance Day 20 years ago that 11 people were killed when the IRA detonated a massive bomb without warning in the Co Fermanagh town during a parade.
