Five arrested in Derry drugs raid

Four men and a woman have been arrested by drugs squad officers in a planned raid on a house in Co Derry.

Police swooped on the home in the Hazelbank Road area of Coleraine yesterday evening.

A quantity of cannabis was recovered and a 36-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class C drug.

He is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

Detectives were continuing to question the other four people.
