Pere Charles en route to Arklow for examination
The wreck of the Pere Charles is being brought to Arklow in Co Wicklow today for examination by gardaí.
They are due to search the vessel for the remains of its five crew members, who have been missing since the trawler sank off Hook Head on January 10th.
Underwater searches shortly after the tragedy failed to locate any remains on board the boat.
The Pere Charles was raised from the seabed yesterday by a salvage crew that also raised the sunken Maggie B earlier this week.
No remains were found on board that trawler, which also sank off Hook Head in March 2006.
