Half of workers take sick days for colds and flu

Nearly half of the Irish workforce have taken days off this year due to colds and flu, according to a new survey carried out by Yakult.

The study has also found that despite feeling ill, over one-third of those surveyed felt they couldn't take sick leave because of the demands of their job.
