Le Pen urges Irish to oppose EU Treaty
French far right leader Jean Marie Le Pen has said he is prepared to come to Ireland to oppose the referendum on the EU Reform Treaty.
The extremist politician is reportedly urging Irish people to reject the treaty saying he would be delighted to come to defeat what he calls a criminal conspiracy.
He told a press conference at the European Parliament that Ireland is the only country where voters are being given the opportunity to vote on what he terms the building of a European "superstate".
