Two men still in custody in connection with Riedo murder
Two men remain in garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo in Galway.
The pair were among four people arrested in the city yesterday morning as part of a planned operation by detectives investigating the killing.
The other two, a man and a woman, have been released without charge pending instructions from the DPP.
17-year-old Manuela Reido was strangled to death last week just days after arriving in Galway to study English.
Her body was found on waste ground near Lake Attalia days ago.
The Irish Ambassador to Switzerland, James Sharkey, is to represent the Irish Government at her funeral near Berne later today.
