Gardaí in Cork release man held over Gary Bull murder

Gardaí in Co Cork have released one of the two men being questioned about the murder of New Age Traveller Gary Bull.

The 37-year-old's body was found in a slurry pit on a farm in Dunmanway last week.

A post mortem revealed he died of head injuries and may have been in the pit for a couple of weeks.

Mr Bull had been living in a mobile home in the area and was part of a large community of New Age Travellers living around Coole Mountain.

Two men were arrested in connection with his death in the Dunmanway area yesterday, one of whom has since been released without charge.

The second man is still being questioned in Bandon.

Four others were also arrested over the weekend in Dublin and Waterford, but they were all released without charge.
