Gardaí investigating the murder of Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo in Galway last week are renewing their appeal for help from the public.

The 17-year-old's body was found on waste ground near Lake Atallia last week, just days after she arrived in Galway to study English.

Gardaí believe there are witnesses who have not come forward and who may have seen Ms Riedo on the night of the attack.

Detectives say they want to speak to anyone who was in the Lake Atallia area between 7.15pm and 8pm last Monday night.

They also want to hear from anyone who may have noticed a change in the behaviour of the people they know.
