Belgian royals to visit Cliffs of Moher
The heads of the Belgian royal family will finish their three-day state visit to Ireland with a reception at the Cliffs of Moher today.
King Albert II and Queen Paola will be greeted by Mayor of Clare, Patricia McCarthy, before touring the site and O’Brien’s Tower – the best location to view the site.
The royals will leave Ireland from Shannon Airport after the visit.
The Cliffs of Moher are 8km long and 214m high and among the highest sea cliffs in western Europe.
