Gardaí identify mystery woman with Chihuahua dog

Gardaí in Dublin have identified a mystery woman who presented herself at Store Street Station last week suffering from amnesia.

The 42-year-old woman walked into the station carrying a Chihuahua dog and told gardaí she did not know who she was.

A public appeal was launched to determine her identity and gardaí say they have since been able to track down her family in the United States.

She is a US citizen with an address in California and is currently being cared for by the US Embassy and medical staff.
