Young man shot dead in Limerick city gun attack

Gardaí in Limerick have launched a murder investigation following the fatal shooting of a man in the north of the city last night.

The victim, who was in his early 20s, was shot in the head on St Ita's Street in St Mary's Park just after 10pm.
