Woman free after questioning in relation to Cork baby 'assault'

Gardaí in Cork have released without charge a 30-year-old woman they were questioning in relation to an assault on an infant.

The woman was arrested yesterday morning in the Wilton area of the city and was questioned for almost 12 hours about injuries sustained by the 8 month old baby boy.
