Greens meet tomorrow to assess performance in Govt
The Green Party are gathering in Dublin this weekend to assess its performance in government over the past few months.
The party has had to endure a number of controversies during its short spell in power, most notably the Taoiseach's appearance at the Mahon Tribunal.
The Greens have repeatedly refused to express concern about Mr Ahern's often confusing explanation of the large sums of money he received in the 1990s.
Elsewhere, party leader John Gormley has also been criticised by heritage campaigners for approving the destruction of the Lismullen monument found in the path of the M3 motorway.
Up to 400 members are expected to attend tomorrow's meeting, where the party leadership is likely to play up what it has already achieved since agreeing to enter coalition with Fianna Fáil and the PDs.
