Taoiseach to face Dáil questions over Mahon testimony
The Taoiseach's finances and the Shannon Airport controversy are expected to dominate proceedings as the Dáil resumes today following its three-month summer break.
Bertie Ahern is expected to face an onslaught from the Opposition over his recent evidence to the Mahon Tribunal, which Fine Gael says was not credible.
The largest Opposition party is considering tabling a motion of no confidence in Mr Ahern, while the Labour Party has already openly called on him to resign.
