More time for questioning in Longford death investigation

Gardaí have been given more time to question three people about the death of a mother of two in Longford.

38-year-old Sharon Coughlan was found strangled in a vacant house on Great Water Street in the town last Saturday.

A husband and wife in their twenties and a 19-year-old are in custody in connection with the death.
