Two arrested in connection with Longford murder
Gardaí in Co Longford have arrested two people in connection with the murder of Sharon Coughlan.
The 37-year-old mother-of-two was found dead in the bathroom of a vacant house on Great Water Street last Saturday night.
She had been strangled to death.
A 28-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the murder at around 11am this morning and are being questioned at Longford Garda Station.
