Hundreds of people have attended funeral Mass for murdered greengrocer Harry Holland.

The 65-year-old west Belfast victim was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver outside his Norfolk Drive home last week.

Requiem Mass took place at St Matthias’ Church on the Glen Road in the city. Mr Holland was buried in the City Cemetery.

His cortege stopped briefly outside his shop on the Glen Road.

Father Tom Toner told mourners there needed to be more police on the streets and said the killing had caused anger.

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the murder.

He is also accused of having a knife and making threats to kill.

Two other teenagers – a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl – face charges connected with the killing.
