PSNI investigating sexual assault in Co Down

Police in the North are investigating a serious sexual assault in Co Down.

It is believed a man attacked a woman in the car park of a nightclub on the Rathfriland Road in Banbridge between 11.30pm last night and 12.30am this morning.

The attacker is described as being around 19 years old, six foot tall, of medium build with dark curly hair.

It is understood he was wearing a white pinstripe shirt at the time.
