Govt committed to elderly: Hoctor

The Government is fully committed to improving all aspects of the lives of older people, a support group was told today.

Maire Hoctor, Minister of State for Older People, told delegates at the Age Action Ireland AGM that the state would not only focus on health issues, but would also give consideration to the quality of accommodation, security, welfare, and all other issues which affect the elderly.
