€100,000 fee to be imposed for fast-track planning

Developers and construction firms are to be hit with a fee of €100,000 for making planning applications under a new fast-track procedure introduced by the Government.

The fast-track process was introduced for major infrastructural projects deemed important to the Irish economy.
