A young man was recovering in hospital today after being stabbed in the stomach in a Limerick estate.

A young man was recovering in hospital today after being stabbed in the stomach in a Limerick estate.

The 21-year-old was attacked at around 1am this morning in Clarina Park, Ballinacurra Weston.

He was taken to hospital were he is in a stable condition.

Gardaí from Roxboro Station are investigating.
