Suspect device found attached to car in Dublin

A number of houses have been evacuated in North Dublin after a suspected explosive device was discovered attached to a car.

Gardaí were alerted to the scene in the Grange Abbey Grove in Baldoyle at about 9am today and called in the Army Bomb Disposal Unit.

The area is cordoned off while the bomb disposal unit examines the device.

It is not yet known whether a controlled explosion will have to be carried out.
