Dempsey: Govt will not force Aer Lingus EGM
The Transport Minister, Noel Dempsey, has said the Government won't be using its 25% stake in Aer Lingus to try and force an EGM over the airline's controversial pull-out from Shannon.
Speaking this afternoon, Mr Dempsey said Ryanair's bid to try and get its rival to hold a special meeting of shareholders was an unhelpful sideshow.
