Dublin Gardaí investigate fire at Saggart apartment block

Gardaí are investigating a fire in south county Dublin overnight.

Residents of the Carrigmore Crescent apartment block in Saggart were evacuated this morning after a blaze broke out in the underground car park of their building.

It's understood three or four cars were set on fire at around 2.30am.

Gardaí are also investigating a fire in Blanchardstown a short time later.

A car was burned in the basement of the Western View building.

Dublin fire brigade were called to the scene and quickly brought the blaze under control.
