An Bord Pleanala approves Dublin Airport terminal

An Bord Pleanala has given approval for a new terminal and runway to be built at Dublin Airport.

The Board has overruled its own inspector's recommendation to refuse permission for the runway.

It will be subject to 31 conditions including no night-time flights between 11pm and 7am.

A 75,000 square metre terminal has been approved but permission for an extension to over 90,000 square metres was rejected.
