Second man arrested in connection with Cork stabbing
A second man is due to appear before Cork District Court later this evening in connection with the fatal stabbing of Brian McKee in the city at the weekend.
The 24-year-old was arrested yesterday morning and taken to the Bridewell Garda Station where he was questioned until 3.30pm this afternoon.
Earlier today, 27-year-old Jason Quinlan of Loughmahon View, Mahon appeared at the District Court charged with assault causing harm to the father-of-two.
Brian McKee (aged 24) was stabbed a number of times near his home at Ballinure Avenue, Mahon in the early hours of Saturday morning.
