Man dies following crash in Thurles

A 41-year-old man has died following a crash in Co Tipperary yesterday.

The single vehicle accident happened at Brittas in Thurles at 7.30 yesterday morning when his car went out of control and struck a concrete post.

He was seriously injured and removed to hospital where he died early this morning.

He will not be named until all relatives have been notified.
