Cork gardaí hunt armed warehouse raiders

Gardaí in Cork are today looking for a gang of masked raiders who broke into a warehouse and stole valuable equipment early this morning.

It is understood that three masked men armed with iron bars and hurleys broke into the warehouse on the Airport road just after 6am.

They threatened staff members with the weapons before stealing a number of laptops and other equipment before fleeing the scene by car.

No one was injured, but the staff were said to be shaken after the incident.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
