Father and son charged after Donegal drug seizure

A father and son are due to appear in court again today having been charged last night in connection with the seizure of €500,000 worth of drugs in Falcarragh, Co Donegal, on Monday.

The two men, who have an address in Armagh, were charged at a special sitting of the District Court in Sligo last night.

Both men were charged with the unlawful possession of drugs and possession of herbal cannabis for sale or supply in Falcarragh.

The 47-year-old man and his 25-year-old son were both remanded in custody to Letterkenny garda station to appear in court in Donegal town later today.
