Ahern orders Shannon Airport report

A high-level report on the future of Shannon Airport is to be compiled for the Government, it emerged tonight.

Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has asked a team of senior civil servants from several departments to assess investment and support for air links for the Mid-West following cuts by Aer Lingus.
