Investigation mounted into Dublin city centre gas explosion

Gardaí are investigating a gas explosion in Dublin's city centre which has left one man in hospital.

The explosion happened in a flat at Oliver Bond House near Usher's Quay at around midday.

Fire brigade crew and members of An Bord Gáis were called to the scene.

It's understood the victim is being treated in hospital for burn injuries.
