Almost 90% oppose Aer Lingus decision on Shannon

Almost 90% of the public want Aer Lingus to reverse the decision to end its Shannon to Heathrow services, according to an opinion poll published this morning.

The poll in the Irish Examiner also reveals that three quarters of people are unhappy with the Taoiseach's handling of the situation, while 60% say they will fly less with Aer Lingus as a result of the decision.
