Man hurt in petrol bomb attack in the North
Petrol bombers have attacked a west Belfast man’s home as he slept, police in the North revealed today.
The victim suffered cuts and bruising from breaking glass after the device was thrown through the bedroom window of his Erris Grove flat.
He was in bed at the time but managed to put out the fire.
Police in the North have appealed for anyone who knows of the attack just before 3am today to contact them.
Investigating detectives do not believe a sectarian motive was involved.
