The family of a Co Armagh teenager found dead while on holiday in Greece is waiting for the result of a post mortem examination on his remains.

Eighteen-year-old Brendan McCoey, from Cullyhanna, was on holiday in Crete with friends when the tragedy occurred on Sunday morning.

His body was found at the bottom of a hotel swimming pool.

His family priest, Fr Kevin Cullen, says the dead man had been a builder who: "enjoyed life and had plenty of friends".

The family, he said, was devastated and waiting for the post mortem results.
