Human skull found in Dublin garden

A human skull was discovered today in the undergrowth of a garden in south Dublin.

Gardaí in Rathfarnham are investigating the find at Orlagh Grove Estate.

The grim discovery was made at 1pm by a person clearing undergrowth.

Officers said the skull is believed to be that of an adult male.

“The State Pathologist has been notified and will conduct an examination at a later stage,” said a garda spokesman.

“The scene is being preserved for a technical examination.”
