Victim still in serious condition after Louth stabbing

A 19-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital following an assault in County Louth.

He was stabbed a number of times in the face an body at Cox Demense in Dundalk early this morning.

He was rushed to Louth County Hospital where he's now being treated for his injuries.

Gardaí in Dundalk have said they are following a definite line of inquiry in their investigation into the attack.
